World Ozone Day 2023
This year World Ozone Day celebrations were highlighted by the special visit of the honorary guest the Executive Secretary of the Ozone Secretariat to the Republic of Armenia.
On September 14, 2023, the National Ozone Unit of the Ministry of Environment held a celebratory event under the “Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building” Project (UNIDO), which was attended by the Minister of Environment Mr. Hakob Simidyan, Executive Secretary of the Ozone Secretariat Ms. Megumi Seki Nakamura, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Nanna Skau, Managing Director at “DAIKIN” Slovakia Mr. Vladimir Orovnitsky, director of the National Body for Standardization and Metrology Mr. Albert Babayan, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Ministry of Environment, the State Revenue Committee, as well as a number of NGOs.
