ODS/HFC Reclamation and Destruction Technologies

This ODS/HFC Reclamation and Destruction Technologies study summarizes information on the conditions, challenges, available technologies,and current state of ODS/HFC reclamation and destruction practices in Article 5 countries. It became clear during the analysis that technology cannot be studied in isolation.
In addition, a very brief assessment of the policy framework directly influencing reclamation and destruction practices in Article 5 countries is presented, highlighting its role in the successful management of ODS/HFCs. This is also reflected in the set-up of COPA’s thematic working groups, which work together towards a global shift to the sustainable management of ODS/HFCs.
