Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Meeting

A working meeting with representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer and cooperation in the preparation of a GEF project for the phased reduction of hydrofluorocarbon consumption.
Particular attention was paid to the ratification of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol and the prospects for implementing joint projects to implement its provisions.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed hope for continued mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
